About Me

I am a NCCP certified competition level triathlon coach since 2009.  I have coached track and field and cross country running at the middle school and high school levels for over 20 years and have over 20 years of swim instruction experience.  I am now living the dream as a full time triathlon and run coach.  


I have been an athlete all my life, but I found my niche at 15 when I fell in love with running.  I was a member of the track and field and cross country running teams at the University of Saskatchewan from 1994-1996.  


After becoming a mom I focused on road racing before moving into triathlon in 2007.   Since then I have become a competitive age grouper from the sprint distance up to Ironman.  Some of my racing highlights include:

  • 2014 ITU World Champion 35-39 Standard Distance

  • 2016 Calgary 70.3 overall female amateur champion

  • 2016 Ironman Arizona 2nd place 40-44,

  • 2017 Ironman World Championship

  • 2017 Bronze ITU Long Distance World Champs 40-44.

  • 2018 Puerto Rico 70.3 overall female amateur champion

  • 2018 Great White North women's champion

Group Training Sessions

I am the head coach of the Airdrie Triathlon Club.  We offer adult and youth group training sessions as well as social actives.

Improve efficiency and speed

Take your swim stroke to the next level with video stroke analysis or one on one sessions.  In depth video analysis can tweak an already efficient stroke or help newer swimmers correct their form.

Winter bricks at Olds Aquatic Center

Two hour winter swim bike brick workouts that use an open water format in the pool and intervals on the bike!  Great people, good tunes and a solid workout to keep you motivated over the winter!
