Complete Metabolic Testing without having to travel to a lab

  • INSCYD tests athletes remotely. In less than 90 minutes, an athlete is able to complete the test protocol - on their own, by simply following a simple protocol of 4 intervals.

  • Training files are uploaded to INSCYD's Power Performance Decoder, creating the most complete and accurate metabolic profile available today.

  • Results as accurate as laboratory testing and have been validated for accuracy against laboratory-grade physiology testing

  • The only physiological assessment tool which captures aerobic and anaerobic performance.

  • Men and women are physiologically different – INSCYD takes this into account, providing a different calculation for women. This means the unique physiology of a woman is now being captured in the same – simple to execute – test.

  • Only tool that takes the athletes body composition into account and normalizes the performance data to it.

  • INSCYD takes into account, and connects to one another, the most important metrics for training purposes:

    • VO2max

    • Anaerobic threshold

    • Lactate accumulation and recovery

    • Fat and carbohydrates combustion

    • Recovery

    • VLamax (or glycolytic capacity)

Data is cool...  but what will it really do for me?

  • The INSCYD test results can show you that how you train can affect your training zones and fat and carbohydrate combustion.

  • Allows your coach to tailor your training to better prepare you for specific race goals. ( ie. do you need speed and power or do you need to be able to go long )

  • Receive accurate power based training zones.

  • Gives you specific carbohydrate requirements for each training zone.  Dial in your nutrition based on your physiology and power targets.  Find out where you oxidze the most fat, your Fatmax training zone and how to improve it.

  • Understand the connection between VLamax, Anaerobic threshold ( FTP ), and Fat and Carbohydrate combustion rates and how lowering or raising one can affect the other.

How it works:

  • Testing is based on bike power meter data using INSCYD's remote testing protocol.  Sharon will review the test protocol with you to make sure you understand how to execute the tests properly.

  • Athletes complete four intervals over one to three days and sends the fit files to Coach Sharon.

  • Once your tests have been uploaded and ran through INSCYD's Power Performance Decoder you will receive a full metabolic report emailed to you.  Sharon will also set up a time to review your test online with you personally through zoom and will deep dive into the results with you and give you personalized training recommendations.
